Putting Up The Tree

Yep, the date is correct! We are setting up our Christmas tree on Christmas Eve.

For the past several years we have been out of town for the holidays and haven't put up a tree. So, this year we have been looking for the tree and ornaments for the last month. To my surprise they were in the very back center of my mothers storage unit. I just picked them up on Friday. There are still several boxes of things that I can't locate but we will make due with the seven boxes that I did find.

We had a blast. I set up the tree and put on the lights. Then the girls hung all of the ornaments while I clicked away with the camera. Here are just a few.

It's a small fake tree that is very easy to set up, take down and leave alone in between.

Little Man was sleeping the entire time so he didn't get to help. He will have more opportunities in the future. When he woke up he just stood across the room, pointing and making sounds at the flashing lights on the tree. He hasn't touched it at all. He is such a good boy!

The tree isn't done, we will be adding popcorn strings later when we have had a chance to make them.
