Scripture Share ~ Decisiveness

I'd like to take a few moments to share with you some verses touching on the Biblical idea of decisiveness. It is the act of making decisions based on truth and standing firm despite outward circumstances.

"Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life." Proverbs 4:13

"Every prudent man dealeth with knowledge: but a fool layeth open his folly." Proverbs 13:16 

"A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished." Proverbs 22:3

  "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.  A double minded man is unstable in all his ways." James 1:5-8
