$300 Grocery Haul - November

I'm hoping to take another trip to the grocery store closer to the Thanksgiving holiday. So, this trip is just for our regular meal preparations for the rest of the month. We did phenomenally today and I couldn't be happier. In all truthfulness, our haul from October was so good that we still have plenty of staples left over. I got away with spending less than $300 and only needed to go to two stores, so I'm thrilled. As always, the majority of our groceries are organic.

$300 Grocery Haul for November
The first grocery is almost an hour away and so worth the trip. I request that they pack my purchase in banana boxes because they stack in my truck so nicely. All the items in the plastic bags are from the second grocery. Those bags will be reused as bathroom trash can liners. Double win for not having to pay for trash bags.

Starting off with dairy:
gallon of raw milk
three tubs of organic yogurt
case of organic blueberry yogurt individual cups
two cases of organic protein shakes
fetta cheese
block of hot pepper jack cheese
cottage cheese
organic pistachio gilato
two tubs of ice cream
shaker of Parmesan cheese

Next up are Meats:
4 trays of boneless, skinless, chicken breasts
3 packages of chicken lunch meat (for my husband)
2 packages of turkey lunch meat
6 packages of turkey burgers
20 packages of hotdogs
pepperoni
bag of frozen, chicken cutlets
4 links of breakfast turkey suasage

My favorite category is fruits and veggies:
2 packages of organic lettuce
organic arugula
4 bags of frozen organic hash potatoes
red and yellow grape tomatoes
tray of sliced peppers
bag of frozen peppers and onions
2 trays of strawberries
lemons and limes
cucumbers and zucchini
a spaghetti squash
2 cantaloupes
box of raisens
2 cans of olives
4 bags of frozen, organic berries
boxes and cans of organic soups and beans
4 cans of organic pumpkin pie filling
2 cans of cranberries

Here's an assortment of drinks. I don't really count these because they will all go to work with my husband.

We didn't get as many dry goods as we usually do because we still have loads left over from our October shopping trip. Today I just picked up a few things.

4 boxes of organic hot cereal
2 bags of chocolates
4 candy bars (we ate 2 already)
bag of organic rolled oats
bag of cocoa powder
2 cans of organic hot cocoa mix
3 bags of polenta mix
2 boxes of organic cereal
2 packages of wraps
1 bag of flour
3 bags of snack food for my husband
4 containers of organic sushi rice
4 boxes of organic risotto rice
a nice pile of individual organic pretzel bags (we ate some of these already too)
Wine crackers

And last but not least, miscellaneous items and things I missed from other categories.
4 jars of organic mayonnaise
safflower oil
apple cider vinegar
shaker of cinnamon
ketchup and mustard
organic hazelnut spread
20 cans of tuna
4 boxes of broth
6 cans of organic evaporated milk
3 rolls of paper towels
6 bags of skewers (I couldn't resist, they were 6 for $1)

Until next time,
May all your endeavors be a blessing!
