Sharing In Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving with some dear friends. Mostly the usual Thanksgiving dinner, but I wanted to share some pictures that I took. The family that hosted the dinner have a wonderful tradition that I wanted to share.

They make placemats for each person and laminate them along with special name tags. Each person writes down something that they are thankful for each other person in the family. Then they cut out and glue down all that is said about each person to their own mat. Decorations are added and a keepsake is made.

 We participated but not exactly in the same way. I printed off a large picture to take up space and then typed off some things for each person.

I also wanted to mention that they have four girls that baked wonderful pies for desert. Don't they look yummy?!
