Home Grown Pumpkins

These are the last of our home grown pumpkins for this year. What great decorations and pies they make. Each one is enough to make one pie so they are used for decorations until I feel like baking.

I have been told by our local pumpkin patch owner that we had a drought this year and without irrigation, the pumpkins wouldn't have done very well. I guess that I watered them enough for my needs because I think that they turned out wonderfully!

I will deffinitly be planting the same type next year.
