Little Man Turns One

The title speaks for itself!

We had a small party for him at the house with my mother and grandmother. Hubby and siblings were there as well.
Sissy wanted to make a cake for the occasion. I think that she did a great job. She chose carob with peanut butter frosting. There is no sugar in the recipe but lots of honey.
Little Man needed some help with his candle. That's me helping him 'blow' it out. He will get the hang of it as more birthdays come. :)

There were lots of presents for so few guests. That isn't surprising since the guests were grandmas. You can see that he didn't know what to do with the pretty packages right away.

But he soon got the hang of it and liked the neat gifts that were hiding inside. He had lots of fun playing with the pretty paper as well as his gifts.

Thanks so much to everyone that sent cards and gifts by mail as well as those that gave their gifts early. Little Man loved his day and is enjoying all that goes with it.

Thanks again,
Mother
