Scripture Share ~ Discernment

Thank you for sharing a few moments with me to look over some verses touching on the Biblical idea of discernment. It is the ability to tell truth from falsehoods, or right from wrong.

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." Romans 12:2

"And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and [in] all judgment;" Philippians 1:9

"Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment." John 7:24

  "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Corinthians 2:14
